Course Description

The downhill course is very fast. However, running just over two miles through a tunnel, the trail surface (hard-packed gravel), and warmer-than-optimal July weather may slow runners.

From race website-If you're looking for a fast and scenic marathon in the Pacific Northwest in late July, here it is! The Light at the End of the Tunnel Marathon runs on a scenic, point-to-point, rail-trail course which descends 2050 feet in 26.2 miles from Snoqualmie Pass to North Bend.
