The Columbia River Power Marathon starts and finishes at the same location (Big River Golf Course in Umatilla, OR).
The course travels to McNary Dam just after the first mile. With a 5 mile loop on the Washington State side runners come back over to Oregon on the pedestrian path over the Hwy 82 Bridge and back by the McNary Dam.
The course then climbs back up to the start.
The course continues back down to the Columbia River and along the Lewis and Clark Trail which links up to Hat Rock State Park, although this is a flat section of the course it will be challenging running on the soft surface trail between 13 and 18 miles.
After leaving Hat Rock State Park runners turn back towards Umatilla running along the mostly flat Columbia River Hwy.
Rankings will be listed for 2017 at the end of the year.
