Course Description

The Long Island Marathon is mostly flat with some long very gentle inclines and declines. From mile 3 to mile 8, the course gently climbs about 70 feet and then goes downhill 150 feet for the next 8 miles to mile 16. At mile 17, there is another gentle 100 feet of elevation gain over the next 6 miles. The last three miles to the finish are downhill.
