Course Description

The Porcupine Mountains Trail Marathon starts in front of the Porcupine Mountains Ski Lodge and ascends the mountain via cross country ski trails to the Union Spring Trail.

The route passes Trap Falls and then heads west on the Government Peak Trail. The trail doubles back for a mile before joining the North Mirror Lake Trail, which takes runners on a climb up to Lake of the Clouds.

The course goes east on the Escarpment Trailwith the last aid station is reached at Cuyahoga Creek (21.6 mi).

The course then returns to the finish at the Ski Lodge via the Overlook Trail and cross country ski trails.
