Course Description
The Milan Marathon course is renowned for being exceptionally flat and fast, making it one of Italy's premier races for achieving a personal best time. The route follows a series of loops through the city, both starting and finishing at the Piazza del Duomo, right in front of the iconic Milan Cathedral.

Runners are treated to a tour of Milan's blend of history and modernity, passing many of the city's most famous landmarks. The course weaves past architectural highlights such as the Castello Sforzesco, the Teatro alla Scala, the Arco della Pace, and the modern skyscrapers of the CityLife district. While the route is largely smooth, there are a few sections, particularly in the older city center, that feature cobblestones and tram tracks. The atmosphere is celebrated as vibrant and engaging, with numerous official cheer points and DJ stations set up to support runners along the 26.2 mile journey.
