Valencia Marathon

The Valencia Marathon course is celebrated as one of the fastest and flattest marathon routes in Europe, making it an ideal race for runners aiming for a personal best or BQ. The course is essentially a single-loop route, starting near the Plaça de la Marató and winding through the vibrant city of Valencia. Runners experience a tour of the city, passing along wide avenues, through the historic center to see landmarks like the Cathedral and Plaça de l'Ajuntament, and along a scenic stretch near the coast, all while benefiting from an almost zero-elevation profile at sea level.

The spectacular finish is arguably the most iconic feature of the race. The final stretch takes participants back to the modern, futuristic architecture of the City of Arts and Sciences, concluding on a stunning floating walkway over the water in front of the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum. This grand finale, combined with the mild December climate and enthusiastic crowds throughout, ensures a memorable and highly-touted race experience.
